Our team is the heart and soul of Goodman & Weber, and the reason we continue to be a trusted provider of financial management services to countless individuals and small businesses throughout the state of Kentucky. Our team is comprised of only the best and most qualified individuals, each with a passion for finance and a love of helping people to thrive.
Daniel Weber, CPA, CGMA – Managing Partner
Daniel Weber joined Goodman & Weber as a partner in 2011. In 2016 Daniel became the Managing Partner. Prior to joining Goodman & Weber, Daniel practiced private accounting as an Accounting Supervisor at NTS Development Company. Daniel earned his Masters in Business Administration at Indiana University Southeast, and a Bachelors in Accounting at University of Louisville.
Daniel is an active Scouting Volunteer, serving as Cubmaster of his son’s Cub Scout Pack as well as on the local District Committee. He has also earned the rank of Eagle Scout, and the Venturing Ranger Award from the Boy Scouts of America. Daniel is also a member of Alpha Kappa Psi, professional business fraternity and has served as a volunteer with the AARP Tax Aide program.
Daniel is married to Deirdre and a proud father of three.
Bill Goodman, CPA – Partner Emeritus
Bill Goodman has extensive business experience in both private and public accounting. Bill worked seven years for Ford Motor Company in Detroit, MI and overseas. Additionally, he was employed with Cleveland Trust Company as an assistant vice president for three years and Parker International as vice president of finance for three years. The remainder of his business career has been in public accounting in Louisville.
Bill received his BSBA from Washington University in St. Louis and his MBA from Indiana University.Bill has been honored by SCORE (Special Core of Retired Executives) for his work with small business. The Small Business Administration for the Commonwealth of Kentucky has selected Bill as the Accountant of the Year, and Bill has served on the Small Business Advisory Council for the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Additionally, Bill has represented Kentucky as a delegate to the White House Conference on Small Business in Washington D.C.
Bill married and is a proud father of two.
Christine Ortman – Office Manager
Christine Ortman joined the Goodman & Weber team in August 2021. Although new to the profession of accounting, Christine has a working knowledge of office practices and strives to provide high quality, personal customer service. Christine has earned both her Bachelors and Masters degrees from Western Illinois University.
Christine is a native of Illinois but has lived in Oldham County since 2014. She enjoys Louisville and the surrounding area. Christine is married to Michael and has three children, two daughters in college and a son in high school. When she is not attending her son’s soccer games, Christine enjoys going to art fairs and spending time with her family.
